I was reading something the other day about how men who are attracted to a woman have a skewed perception of how she feels about him because patriarchy teaches them that what they want is what is most important, so they assume she must want him as much as he wants her. Once you actually teach them how to read body language and other cues they have a more realistic perception but shouldn't that be the norm already?
