I would hope that you are aware of your own thoughts and knowledge, but I have no idea what colorism terms are. If the topic is how dominant race people who have both current and historical higher levels of institutional power and who look a certain way are inadvertenly or purposefully side-lining non-dominant race people who look another way, how is it inappropriate to say that plainly and directly by referring to their race?
Despite your largely combative and noncvil demeanor, I am geniunely curious to learn more about what you mean. Pretending race is not a factor in this story which is only about race sounds to me as if you are trying to whitewash the situation by taking out the teeth. If that's not the case, please explain. I'm truly interested how one is supposed to talk about topics of racism without mention race.
