I wrote some articles about societal dynamics but apparently what you really want is for me to validate your personal life for you. Why do you care what a stranger on the internet thinks? I've already said to you twice that if the way you live works for you and your wife, then good for you, but I'm discussing this topic from an academic and sociological perspective. If you don't want to/aren't able to do that, then we have nothing to talk about.

This need for external validation and to come out as "the winner" in any interpersonal interaction is a great example of another problem with patriarchy. Perhaps I'll write about that next. 😉
