I wrote something a while back about this culture teaching men to be tyrannical children. This of course doesn't mean that all men behave this way, but may of them do, caught in this cycle of dependence on women for meeting their needs and bolstering their self-esteem at the same time that they use them and minimize their standing as peers and equals. The ways that all of this discourages relational honesty, personal honesty, etc., is harmful to us all.
