I'd like to see that data. What exactly has gone down? Because reported crime going down isn't a sufficient indicator of violence going down. A full 33% of women around the world will be beaten and or raped in their lifetime. I'm skeptical that this is a number that has decreased. And that's just one example. This report is full of information about all the other sorts of violence that women face — and that doesn’t touch on violence against men, which is also a substantial issue.
