If the people you know are too fragile to have a sociologically correct discussion using academically accurate terms (which have been clearly explained), that sounds like a person problem on their part. And if they are already that touchy and defensive it seems unlikely that describing the male dominated social stratification and violence machine that arose approx. 5k years ago is going to be any better received.
