If you don't want babies to die than put your time and energy into that not needing to happen so often. Advocate for cheap and easily available contraception, for better contraception for men - since it is 100% their responsibility when unwanted pregnancies occur. Write long and impassioned comments about the need for comprehensive sex education and about how men need to support women in paying for pregnancies and in raising children. Go on and on about the moral responsibilities of society to actually give adequate support to mothers so that they can raise children, even if they weren't planned for.

Otherwise it's all just hatred of women and not actual love of babies.
