I’m a big fan of hers and she is the one who first introduced me to these concepts about 15 years ago when I read The Chalice and the Blade. Since then, I find information about this far and wide, from Scientific American to The World Economic Forum, to books of all sorts written by male anthropologists. And yet, just the other day some guy called me a crackpot and a conspiracy theorist far passing along this sort of data. Small wonder then that spellcheck doesn’t recognize matrilineal. Sigh….
