I'm a bit emotionally exhausted by all of this, to be honest, so will start with a short response and maybe give a longer one later. I do agree that we've got a pretty respectful and friendly relationship despite not often seeing eye to eye and I appreciate that. But the thing that frustrates me and makes me want to cry, if I'm honest, is when I say #MeToo and you go to the Hollywood aspect of that and not the fact that within the first 48 hours over a million uses of the # hit Twitter, nearly universally from everyday women talking about their own experiences. This is the routine experience of every woman I've ever met from the time they were young children, and nobody seems to really care about that. In fact, they mostly want to tell women to shut up and stop lying to make men look bad.
