I'm a huge fan of George Lakoff. His book Moral Politics finally helped me make sense of the political divide in this country. It's despicable to see the Tucker Carlson types going rah rah for Putin. Ronald Reagan must be turning in his grave, but it does make some sense that they prefer authoritarian leaders since that is the system that most closely adhere's to the Strict Father model.
