I'm filing this under the heading: Patriarchy hurts us all. And you're right, there are all sorts of "unfair" things that go with that, for both men and women. Tom Cruise, Billy Crystal, and Jonah Hill are all 5'7". Danny DiVito is 4'10. This does not seem to have stopped them from finding mates and otherwise making lives for themselves.
