Things are improving on this front, but sadly, there still are a bunch of younger men especially who seem to feel like their sense of self as a man is under attack if we talk about what's going on for women. One guy actual went so far to tell me it was misandry to assert that pretty much every woman he knows has had some experience with sexual violence. I told him he was being fragile, and that this wasn't about him but based on another comment he made to me since then, I don't think he sees that.
