I’m glad to hear that you are hanging in there and fostering gratitude. Yes, it’s an uncertain time, but those who are propagating fear are making it worse.

My mom’s health is declining and I felt like I needed to get up here to see her before I possibly wouldn’t be able to. I am so grateful that there were still flights and that the airport had hardly anyone in it. I’m grateful for James, who made sure I had masks and gloves for the trip, and who is preparing our home so that I can bring my mom back with me. I’m incredibly grateful for her neighbors and friends who have been looking out for her until I got here. It’s a strange time but I feel mostly at peace.
