I’m going to respectfully disagree with you on that. My husband and I opened up our relationship about 5 years ago and although it wasn’t without bumps to do so, we have taken our very good relationship to the place of a truly great one. There’s nothing wrong with choosing monogamy but sharing yourself emotionally or sexually with someone else does not necessarily mean you lose anything with your primary partner. Love is infinite — sharing it does not inherently water it down.
