I’m not entirely sure which study you are referencing (or how exactly what you are saying relates to this discussion — what does many men being content to live like bears with furniture have to do with how often they notice attractive women vs. how often women notice attractive men?) but here is one that I linked a few comments back.

If you are referencing 10,000 years of socialization, I’m talking the onset of patriarchy and all the restrictions on women and female sexuality that came with it.
