I'm sorry, but as a highly spiritual person who helps people find their own way forward for a living, this really mostly doesn't fly. People get to live their own lives and make their own mistakes. Telling them what they should and should not do or want or have is not helping them in any way, shape, or form. The loving thing is to walk along beside them, supporting their journey and offering advice or assistance if and when they request it and not before. It's helping to pick them back up when you've done the hard thing of allowing them to make their own mistakes because it is only through walking their own path that they truly learn to trust themselves (rather than you). Teaching others to depend on your "superior" judgment is disempowering to them, not helpful or loving.

Love of any kind is always a journey which is why I pointed out to you that this level of judgment is incompatible with a truly loving outlook. We are all our own worst enemies. Spending your time wagging fingers at others instead of minding your own store is one way to avoid dealing with your own stuff. Are you familiar with the work of Byron Katie? You might find it interesting. Her most famous book (although there are several as well as a good website) is Loving What Is.

Peace

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
