I'm sorry, but that is a complete crock. It's a deflection. You aren't railing against feminism because you believe in equality but also complimentarianism (which BTW are antithetical to each other). Believing in "a male nature" indicates a belief in inherent superiority. You cannot explain away all the women scientists, inventors, economists, mathematicians, astronauts, etc., with some sort of inherent "male nature." If my inherent nature is to be a geologist, does that mean I'm only a match for a submissive and not very academically minded man? Because that's pretty much what complimentariansim demands. That's just kind of laughable...

You are dealing with very personal wounding as well as challenges to long held and deeply indoctrinated beliefs, in my opinion. Feminism is about equality for all, by bringing women up to the standards of opportunity and status in society that men have. I'll say it again, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the philosophy of feminism unless you don't actually care about equality. If you want to keep women pigeonholed in "female nature" then that's just a cover for latent discrimination. So, do you want to maintain the structures of power and privilege for your benefit, or do you want to create a better world for everyone? Are you strong enough to do that?

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
