I'm with you - while I certainly don't want to keep normalizing antiquated sexual dynamics where the woman is envisioned as the gatekeeper who has to manage her reputation, rather than act on her own sexuality as she wishes, it's a bit much to outright ban that song. A few years back John Legend did an updated version with Kelly Clarkson that is fun and not in the least bit objectionable. I wish that sort of consent aware narrative were a lot more mainstream.
