Rex Kerr, in addition, the premise that males are naturally randy and promiscuous and that females are naturally coy and choosy is another bedrock belief of EP - even though it's based on a study of fruit flies from the 1940s, has never been successfully replicated using the same methodology, and is disproven not just by primatology, but a wide variety of other research of animal and human mating strategies. How can anyone take seriously a field that warmly embraces junk science like that even if the methodology is a bit better for other studies?

As far as I am aware, there are not some EP types saying this is right and others pointing out how completely and totally wrong it is. If you know of any, I'd sure like to learn of them.
