We must come to see with the distinguished jurist of yesterday that "justice too long delayed is justice denied."

Waters was speaking to that dynamic and the need to keep advocating for justice to ensure that it is not denied. The difference between what she said and what Trump did is that she was advocating for keeping up the pressure to do what is right and in the social good of the entire society. He was advocating for committing sedition to purposely circumvent the democratic process.
