In my mind, hostility is saying, "You're an effing idiot" not saying, "Your post is pointless because it's misrepresenting facts and asserting things that are demonstrably false." For me, that's just debate. It's calling a spade a spade and speaking honestly about what I perceive to be taking place.

If what I said is short on pleasantries it's because he's attacking people who are hurting and baselessly asserting that they are setting abortion rights back when there is no actual evidence of that being true. He's trying to shut women up for advocating for their rights and their needs and being a bully. I don't take kindly to that. I see and experience that every day from men on the internet, and so does just about every woman I know. I'm not going to take that lying down.

The fact that I had prior experience with him only solidified by perception of him and what he said, but I would have essentially said the same thing anyhow. As I mentioned before, 18 other people gave me a sum total of 213 claps for what I wrote, and you were the only person who objected. Clearly, those folks thought he deserved it as well.
