In several cultures partible paternity or indifference to paternity are the norm. The notion that no man wants to raise/provide for a child that isn't his comes out of patriarchal ideas.

My husband loves to watch me with another man, but not from across the room. He wants to be right in the mix, which works for me too. 😁
