…e you speak of, the family oriented woman, not necessarily by choice a new space opened up as well. Having more children became a choice, sex could be enjoyed without fear of pregnancy and women began to plan for life after family. You mention divorce rates and they spiralled as women no longer accepted meaningless partnerships.
I think your account of gender roles and the view of women and the family is basically correct but…
