Interesting, but from what I’ve read about history, this kind of dominance hierarchy is only about 6–10K years old. For most of human history, we didn’t live this way, which means that is not inevitable that we do. Hoping to write something further about this soon, but it will have a lot of citations and quotes and it’s taking me some time to put that together in a way that flows.
