It absolutely is a feature of patriarchy, and unfortunately it dovetails all too well with predatory capitalism (and white supremacy) so yeah, it's going to be hard to unseat entirely. My hope is just that we can at least more a little bit toward a more partnership oriented world because we recognize that it hasn't always been this way. This is not "human nature."
