It's a continuation of the belief that men are people and women are not - we're just here to be of service to men, and to give them pleasure. 🙄

It's alarming how many men really do want it that way. I was looking at a series of pictures recently about traditional dress in countries that now require a full burkha. It also included the way that women dressed in these countries in the 1970s, which was very similar to women in Western countries at that time. We don't have the luxury of imagining that couldn't happen here.
