It’s a weird (and destructive) part of our society that women feel like they ought to give a guy they aren’t into a chance, and that some guys strongly believe this as well. It’s not like men are going on dates with women they don’t feel a spark for. It’s a function of the patriarchal notion that women are on earth for the pleasure and enjoyment of men.
