It's like talking to a child, and a not very savvy one at that. Helloo.... this is the entire point of the essay - the elites sent the regular guys off to die for their interests in really horrible ways. They kept women from that as much as they could - although thousands of women found ways to serve and die anyhow. They kept women from military service, not because they were valuable - but because they didn't want "girls" doing "men's work." How have you failed to comprehend that??? It is literally the whole point of the essay and very well documented.

Worldwide women make up 40% of entry level miners. They don't necessarily stay (although many do) because they aren't treated as equals and are harassed and discriminated against. That doesn't mean that the lives of the male miners are easy or nice, but more than one thing can be true at a time. Mature adults understand that.

PATRIARCHY has done all of this, and yet, instead of blaming that as any sane person would, you go on blaming women - just as the elites want you to so that you don't actually point at them. That's a chump's game. Stop being a chump and put the blame where it actually belongs.

Patriarchy is the cause of racism and homophobia, and ableism, and garden variety bullying. It's also the cause of rape and violence of all sorts - against both women and men. Patriarchy is the reason that so many regular guys die in horrible wars that don't benefit them in any way. That is literally the main point of this essay. If you can't grasp that, if you are too emotionally wounded to be able to think straight, then it's time to call it a day.

FYI, I have 10.6k followers, about 60% of which are men, so no, I mostly don't have an issue with the way that guys respond to me. I write all the time about the ways that patriarchy harms men, and I know a TON about history, anthropology, sociology, and primatology. I'm very, very aware of the ways that patriarchy hurts men. I'm just super fucking tired of guys blaming women for that.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
