It's my understanding that the Oxford comma only went "out of fashion" back in the days when print cost was by the character. Since that's no longer an issue, I'm with my friend who recently declared, "I don't trust anyone who doesn't use the Oxford comma." I'll wager that my parents, Ayn Rand and God would agree.
