And these are patriarchal dominance hierarchies because they came about at the same time as the social and sexual control of women about 6-9 thousand years ago when paternity became important in a way that it hadn't been prior to that time when egalitarian bands of foragers and proto-agriculturalists all took care of each other as a central survival strategy.
