I've never heard of this trend, and perhaps it's just as well. While I can understand women not going for conventionally handsome men who have great warmth and fun personalities like Pete Davidson is said to have, I don't get the ones with lousy attitudes like According to Jim. There is a long history of TV and cartoons pairing women with guys who they are way prettier and nicer than.

When some men complain about how women only want to date really good looking guys I just have to laugh and wonder if they've ever actually been out into the world.
