I've never seen you acted entitled to women who were "out of your league" for lack of a more elegant term. I do see lots of other guys who seem to be quite angry that women they lust after aren't interested in them because they are connecting with guys who are more of a "match" for them. They aren't interested in the sort of woman who might actually go for them because they want the super hot chick.

"Academic research backs up the OkCupid data. The University of Oxford analyzed 150,000 male dating profiles and found that average-looking men got more messages on dating apps than attractive men."

As noted in the Pygmalion story that you read, continuing to tell yourself a disempowering story about how things are and how they are going to go usually turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy. And guys continually telling each other and themselves the same factually wrong story is a problem of their own making. Dating is tough for most people, most people will end up with someone who is "in their league" and believing that all women only want the "Chris" guys is really just men projecting what they find attractive and assuming it's the same for women.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
