I've seen several headlines here on Medium to that effect and heard a lot of comments as well. When Jude Doyle wrote a story about how male loneliness is not worse than anyone else's, he got slammed in the comments with opinions that insist that men are actual lonelier. The implication that women need to fix this is unspoken but comes through loud and clear. Not one of these guys said, "Your'e right, we should talk to our friends more and maybe take up painting as a form of self-expression." They just stomped their feet and whined.
