J Apple Muncy — OK, I finished up my other book and started reading belle hooks tonight. I’m intrigued already. It may take me a while since I now spend significantly more time writing than reading, but at least it’s a start.

This book is potent and a bit heart-wrenching. It speaks to the deepest places of pain within us all. Perhaps that’s why I haven’t gotten to it before. It both breaks and heals my heart to read it.
