You’ve tried to compromise and negotiate and in the end Drake is responsible for his own feelings. If he won’t work on this with you I think you have the right to make yourself happy. Resentment is a real relationship killer and you shouldn’t have to stew in yours. And if Drake ends up resenting you, that’s on him for not making more effort to collaborate on a solution.
