Lots of good stuff here, although a Twin Flame and a Soul Mate are not the same thing. I was involved with my TF for 2 years before I knew of that term, and a lot of it was unbelievably confusing, in large part because he was not someone I would have picked for myself, but I felt immediately connected to him on an energetic level. I wasn’t particularly physically attracted to him at first, but I was just drawn to him. The first time we kissed, that was all we wanted to do, and he bruised my lip. Later on, when I knew the context, I saw this was the overwhelming desire to fuse back together in play.

We broke up because it was so intense, and we were so different, but we couldn’t stay away from each other. We’re back together now, and coming up on our 5 year anniversary, but during the break-up, my husband and I moved away, so I no longer see my TF in person, although we still have a very close relationship (with my husband’s knowledge and consent, I might add).

This relationship has forced me to grow more than any other one I have ever had. That alone makes me believe in the TF phenomenon. I’ve also never had mental telepathy with anyone else. Limerance or infatuation just doesn’t explain anything about my personal experience, but it’s always good to challenge set ideas, so I appreciate your efforts here.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
