Makes sense, thanks for sharing that, but I understand men's pain, I understand Black people's pain, LGBTQ pain, etc. What's the disconnect on not being able to empathize with someone who is different from you and has different experiences? Is it because patriarchy is a zero-sum construct or a lack of empathy pounded into "real men" or something else, do you think?
