Maybe you get it - but the world clearly does not or these issues would not continue at the incredibly depressing rate that they do. Women will stop advocating for change when actual change takes place. And lots of women, including me, have immense empathy for men. In fact, it's something that I often write about - and then mostly a whole lot of men come and tell me to essentially shut up, so there's that. 🤷‍♀️

Mainstream feminism is about equality for everyone - men too - but expecting a demographic that has been nearly universally oppressed (often quite brutally) in both law and custom for 5 thousand years to make you their main focus isn't really realistic - particularly since the demographic you are in has either constructed or benefited from the systemic oppression of women. It's like expecting Black folks to give equal time to how poor whites are also disenfranchised by the system. It's like expecting the Screen Actors Guild to make the issues facing the Teamsters their main focus.

If you want to talk about issues that affect men, please do - but don't go about it like it's a contest because it isn't and if it were, you would lose.
