Men are increasingly suicidal, the number one killer of children is guns, the rates of substance abuse are up, the rates of satisfying (or any) interpersonal relationships are down. If the average man on the street refuses to care about that because he believes that behaving aggressively will actually get him somewhere, then I see that as a Darwin Award dynamic. Women are increasingly pulling away from men like this, the birth rate is plummeting. It might take another 100 years, but survival of the fittest actually means survival of the most adapatable. Refusing to interrupt your own demise won't go well in the long run.
