Men LOVE makeup because everyone looks better in makeup - they just don't like a woman who looks overtly made up. It's one of the many double standards of a patriarchal system. You're supposed to be "natural" in a way that requires thousands of dollars of high quality skin care, good genes, and doesn't look like trying. Women should do what they want and engage in that as they feel comfortable - regardless of men's opinions.
