More than 50% of Americans today, right now in the present, think that being a mother is the single most important thing that a woman can do or be. Based on that, it's a pretty on-target interpretation, and even moreso for that time period when close to 100% of people believed that. Any show that justifies rape is not one I want to watch, and being against rape is not a feminist stance last time I checked.

And why on earth do you even care what I think? Why does it matter to you if I change my mind? If you like that show, go enjoy it. I didn't tell you to stop watching. I just said that I wasn't going to and gave a very clear and legitimate reason why.
