My experience with Texans is that they are truly friendly and want to help out their neighbors. On the not-so-great side, many seem to think that dumping animals is OK and that recycling isn’t actually necessary. Maybe it’s all that vast expanse of land that makes them think there is plenty for all, including former house-pets and trash. But overall, when I’ve been in Texas, I’ve had very good experiences.
