My husband and I sometimes joke that we stay together because neither of us wants to have to date. In truth, I got very lucky with him because although it's not perfect, we've both been willing to work at it over the years, and at this stage, it's pretty darn good. I don't understand people who don't want to have an actual deep and meaningful relationship. Yes, it's work but it's also totally worth it.
