My point of view is that nobody should be drafted, but I also want to remind you that this past congressional session, Democrats were considering a move to draft women as well if the draft was ever reinstated and Republicans were the ones having a fit about it. It's not primarily women/liberals who object to having women in the military or doing other dangerous jobs, it's patriarchal men (because they don’t like the idea that women can do many of the same things men can). Women fought long and hard to be allowed into any combat positions that they qualified for and there’s a long history of women warriors from around the world. You can’t blame women for the fact that men have kept them out of the military and out of combat in the past few hundred years.
