Naturally, you are entitled to your opinion, but modern hunter-gatherer only work about 15-20 hours a week. Perhaps we have more time on our hands than most farmers or when factory workers had 100 work weeks, but I think there are plenty of cultures of the past and the present that had/have just as much or even more free time. Greed and that sort of thing are rather more a function of what is tolerated in the culture than how much time free time someone has.
