Nearly all of that is related to poverty (a single mom is more likely to be poor than a single dad) and to not otherwise having 3 secure and loving relationships. It's better for a kid to have a close and loving relationship with both parents, but it's not a death sentence for their happiness and success later in life as it's been touted if they don't have a dad. In fact, the children of lesbian parents over all do better in school than those of different sex parents.

Only 23% of kids are growing up in households with a married mom and dad. So you're really going to purport that the other 77% are all completely dysfunctional. 🙄
