No, I'm not doing what single people do because I have strong commitment to each of the people I'm involved with. Those commitments all look slightly different from each other but I've been with all the people in my life for several years - or more. That's not what single people do.

You said "There's no commitment if you're with seven people" and I pointed out that you don't actually know that this is the case because polyamory is not just about sex, poly means many, amory means love. Polyamory = many loves, and although how that looks and plays out may be different for different people, it's not remotely the same as just dating/fucking a bunch of people at the same time.
