No problem at all. We do seem to be moving in a direction where women are more and more removing themselves from men - in a bid for self-preservation. But as it stands, the world is still run and ruled by men. They are the vast majority of every position or metric of power. I don't know what's going to happen in the next 20 or 50 years. It sure looks like a lot of guys are on the short list for a Darwin Award (a rhetorical tongue-in-cheek honor that originated in Usenet newsgroup discussions around 1985. They recognize individuals who have supposedly contributed to human evolution by selecting themselves out of the gene pool by dying or becoming sterilized by their own actions.)

And, there are always going to be women (mostly White women) who will align themselves with men and men's interests as a way to be power-adjacent. I don't see that going away. But, I think if we got even 30% of men to recognize that traditional norms are killing them, and making them depressed and miserable, we might be able to tip the scales toward a more pro-social world. More than one of the male allies that I've read believes this is the best path forward - to get men caring about the way this shit harms them because self-interest will always trump social conscience.

I certainly don't claim to have all the answers, and welcome different points of view as part of discussion because how else are we going to figure it out? We live in a violent rape culture and that needs to stop - somehow, some way.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
