Nobody is denying that, but it still doesn't speak to racism being the reason for white suffrage leaders opposing the 15th, or having a purported active wish to keep Black women from voting. That was a tactical move, just like Douglas' was to not include women in the 15th. As I already noted, Douglas doing that didn't signal misogyny and nobody would assert that it did, even though it’s essentially the same thing.
As I've also already noted, there was plenty of white supremacy going on at this time BECAUSE IT WAS THE 1800S AND EARLY 1900S. But it also wasn't a codified aspect of the women's rights movement as has been asserted and Anthony and Stanton WERE lifelong abolitionists. More than one thing can be true at a time. I'm not trying to ignore any part of actual history. I'm simply trying to speak to false narratives that have no actual evidence to support them.
