None of that explains why more Latinos and more Blacks voted for Trump than any Republican ever (or at least for the past 50 years for Blacks). It doesn't explain why 12% of gay people voted for him. It doesn't explain why 13 million more people voted for him now than in 2016 when we didn't really quite know what he was about.

I get that this rhetoric fills a need for you, but I more interested to know what was actually going on for these people - something that vilifying them out of hand will not accomplish - because I want to prevent something similar taking place again in the future. Don't you?
